I loved having carnelian in my space this year. It encourages you to take action, take a leap and go for it…exactly what I did in 2020. As I watched my career fall apart due to the effects of a global pandemic and subsequent lockdown, it made reevaluate what I wanted my life to look like. I mean when everything is stripped away usually the universe is trying to get your attention! If I had to guess what the end of this year looked like I would of NEVER guessed that I’d be living my longtime dream of reading tarot cards, playing with crystals and creating community. Carnelian for the win. I have a tumbled pocket stone that I carry around with me and I think it’s done it’s job well.

One of my favorite books is called The Book of Stones. Robert Simmons, one of the co-authors, describes carnelian in this way, “It is a powerful aid to hose who wish to build confidence, courage, passion and power within themselves.” Couldn’t of said it any better myself!
