This card is my “birth card.” You can discover yours by adding up all the numbers in your birthday, much like you would do for numerology. However you can have two major arcana cards in some cases. For example if your birthday added up to 11 you could choose the card Justice, the eleventh card in the major arcana or The High Priestess, the second card in the major arcana. I resonate with this card all too well. His focus on forward momentum, The Chariot always charges ahead, no matter what obstacles lay in his path. I feel as though my life path has echoed this ethos as I’m always moving, striving and growing, even when it gets hard. It’s as though something burns brightly within that propels me. Perhaps this card embodies our solar plexus.

Magical Discoveries

In one of my favorite books, Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom, the author describes The Chariot as that of ‘the persona.’ It’s the mask we show to the world in order to protect our innermost world and navigate through tricky situations. What masks do you wear?
