Judgement is the last card in the major arcana before we end up at The World, the end of our journey. It’s at the end as it’s the hardest one to embody. Judgement asks us to forgive wholly and heartedly. Not an easy accomplishment. And before we can forgive anyone else we must first learn how to forgive ourselves. Do you truly forgive yourself for the ‘mistakes’ you’ve made in your life? Do you live with any regrets? While my alcoholism hurt many people, I would not change a thing. I wouldn’t of had to work hard at my recovery and I wouldn’t of found this whole new way of looking at the world. I had to make many an amends. At the heart of each one was an emotional embrace with myself. Learning how to slowly envelope myself in unconditional love. A lifelong process.
