Grape Agate

Grape agate is one of those stones that doesn't show up often, and when it does, it stops people in their tracks. Sourced almost exclusively from a single region of Sulawesi, Indonesia, it only hit the global market around 2016, which makes it one of the newer arrivals in the crystal world and one of the harder ones to keep in stock. The name is a little misleading. It isn't actually an agate at all. It's a botryoidal chalcedony, sometimes called grape amethyst, and it got its name because it grows in tiny clustered spheres that look exactly like a bunch of grapes. The color runs from soft lavender to deep purple, occasionally with rare hits of green. Metaphysically, grape agate is a stone of stability, intuition, and inner peace. It activates the third eye and crown chakras, making it a favorite for dream work, meditation, and anyone who wants to deepen the conversation between their conscious mind and the parts of themselves that only speak in symbols. It's calming without being sleepy, intuitive without being overwhelming. We don't get grape agate in often. When you see it on the page, that's not by accident.
